Give your home a beach house vibe on a budget with these DIY coastal decorating ideas.

From coastal artwork to DIY coastal home accessories, there are over a hundred interior design ideas to add a coastal vibe and a touch of elegance to every part of your home. There are DIY coastal decorations for your living room, bedroom, bathroom, dining room, porch, patio, and much more.  These coastal design ideas feature natural textures and natural fibers like burlap that are paired with a coastal color palette that includes neutrals, crisp whites, and navy blue for a pop of color.

I live in Florida so I am able to find many of the supplies for these DIY projects like shells, sand, and wood for free. However, if you don’t live near the beach, then you can still find these items at Dollar Tree, craft stores, and sometimes even thrift stores. For the projects that require pallets, you can get them for free on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. You will need some basic woodworking skills and tools like a saw, sandpaper, drill, nails, and hammer for those DIY projects.
