According to WABI TV 5, Maine police received a call from Mars Hill on Saturday morning regarding an apparent vehicle theft. Although this is certainly not your "ordinary car theft". Wait, is there any ordinary car theft?

At around 9 am on Saturday morning, a woman called the police that a man was sitting in a truck in front of her home on Dongling Road. The man then got out of the car, started running around on the road, and finally entered the women's Jeep Grand Cherokee and took off in it. According to reports, he drove the jeep into the street, started hitting his truck with it, and then sent it back to the woman's driveway. After he parked the jeep back into the driveway, he walked away and started running towards his truck again.

The police arrived at the scene and the man returned to his truck, but he refused to leave. The police broke a window in order to get close to the non-compliant man. Tony Dubuque, 34, from Westfield, was subsequently detained. He was charged with serious criminal mischief and other crimes. He has been released on bail on condition that he is not allowed to drive a vehicle.
