Why don't people go back to work?

These are strange days in the workplace. Many companies across the country are facing a shortage of workers because people lack the motivation to return to work after and during the COVID pandemic.

I knew this firsthand because my wife and stepson were forced to close the door after 21 years in the same place. Of course, that business is Mijo's Diner. A good place where you can buy delicious food every six days. It's time, but the pandemic hastened the closure. I learned that many companies have to follow suit, and they have followed suit.

The purpose of this article is not to tell you the obvious, but to ask questions. Why are so many companies trying to get employees back to work? This is very important to me.

Yes, I understand unemployment, but don’t people need to make money to pay their bills? There may be many other reasons for unemployment, but sooner or later, this free money will run out. I understand that if you own a business and have to close it, you should be compensated by our government. But it seems that others are already crowded with the system. Hey, if I'm wrong, I can admit it. But I think I am doing something.

The most important thing is that some jobs are demanding and sometimes even cost people a heavy price, but they still get rich returns. I mainly focus on the restaurant business because I am very credible, experienced, and understand the situation.

People are returning to work bit by bit, but not fast enough. I believe that COVID will always be with us, and boosters will become the norm. However, keep in mind that you need to pay bills, buy groceries, and take care of your family, and unemployment checks sometimes dry up! Please go back to work!
